Trainer
About Coachio Group
At Coachio Group, we help to create remarkable organisations with exceptional people through world-class training and consulting. Since 2016, we have been working with clients nationwide to upskill people in business skills, leadership, health & safety, and customer service. Proud to count government agencies, DHBs, local government, and some of the biggest and best-known New Zealand companies amongst our clients, we're also running a growing number of public courses at key locations around the country.
What we’re looking for
In order to help develop exceptional people, we want to work with exceptional people, especially when it comes to delivering training. Energy, enthusiasm, passion, positivity, dedication, and a genuine interest in people development are just some of the qualities of our ideal trainers. Our trainers don’t just rock up, deliver training, and disappear, they’re invested in helping learners to achieve their desired outcomes, and recognise the importance of following established procedures to optimise the training process for our clients.
As we grow, we’re looking to work with trainers nationwide who have the qualities listed above. As associates, the ideal trainers will be capable of acting autonomously, be adaptable, and self-managing, but also committed to the Coachio values, vision, and mission, and working as part of the team.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal trainers will have an Adult Education Level 4 qualification and we’re particularly interested in people who have experience in the following areas:
- Health & Safety Representatives
- ICAM
- NZ Certificate in Business
Whilst we can’t provide guaranteed days, we can offer a competitive daily rate and reimbursement of expenses for the right people.

Business Development Specialist
About Coachio Group
At Coachio Group, we help to create remarkable organisations with exceptional people through world-class training and consulting. Since 2016, we have been working with clients nationwide to upskill people in business skills, leadership, health & safety, and customer service. Proud to count government agencies, DHBs, local government, and some of the biggest and best-known New Zealand companies amongst our clients, we're also running a growing number of public courses at key locations around the country.
What we’re looking for
We believe wholeheartedly in our mission to create remarkable organisations with exceptional people. We can help businesses of all sizes nationwide, so we want to reach more people to partner with them on their journey.
To do that, we need a driven contract business development specialist, sufficiently confident in their own abilities to be comfortable operating on a commission-only basis.
The role is suitable for someone wanting to work remotely as potential clients will be contacted by phone initially, with email follow ups. However, with one of our values being “Happy at Work”, we also thrive on working together face-to-face and having fun as a team so, if you’re local to Tauranga, we’d love to have you join us in our offices.
Full training on our services will be provided, as will a competitive commission per sale, plus an extra monthly target-based bonus. Whilst we have an extensive database of contacts, we would expect the successful applicant to be able to find additional people who would benefit from our services.
Qualifications and experience
Whilst there’s no formal qualifications required, some relevant New Zealand experience and evidence of previous successes will be an advantage.
There’s no set expectations around days and hours worked although, being business to business, calls would need to be made during normal weekday working hours. The right candidate will be determined to achieve their goals, which should align with ours, and will have the freedom within the role around how best to deliver on them.
